Couple Goals For The Month

Happy new month People! It's better late than never, they say.

God was really faithful to us last month, he still is!

And... Things are just about to get really beautiful and steamy! I mean, just look at the title of this post. Couple Goals...

Sounds like we'll be discussing relationship in our first post of the month?

Or... Someone is getting married?

Or... We'll be bringing you juicy and spiced up goals that 'couples' should achieve?

News flash, darling.  It's none of the above.

This has nothing to do (but has everything to do) with marriage or married couples or any related subject.

It's simply about two distinct goals we should strive on for this month of February to help ourselves become better versions of us as we spend the moments.

Why "couple goals"? Why not "a couple of goals"? It's couple goals because I was only try to play on the words. Okay. Sue me.

I came up with two goals because yeah, this is the second month of the year! Genius, yeah? However, they both complement each other and are enough in themselves.

Okayyy. Enough of the chitchat and self-praise. Let's move right into the couple goals I have for you to help in the walk of Faith.

#1. Putting God first.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength” (Mark 12:30).

Many times, we fail to obey this commandment given to us. We focus on our present needs and demands that we forget about God's promises and Grace. If His Grace can keep you this far, isn't He also able to keep you much more farther?

No one can go wrong when their desires are His and when you look outside yourself to focus on Him.

Think through your past month. What were the things that kept you from making God a priority? What can you do differently moving foward to put God first?

God is the Big picture we've got to see. That means loving Him above all else.💯

#2. Strength.

Strength is one big goal to be desired and acquired! I'm not motivating YOU to be strong. I'm asking you to take advantage of the God-provided strength for every one of His children. You'd be amazed at how far you'd go.

Claiming the strength of God is in dressing up ourselves in His whole Armor. You can't afford to be spiritually naked. Spiritual nakedness exposes you to the vices of the wicked that ultimately deadens.

This month and beyond, learn to live out Ephesians 6:10-13. Be someone who stands on the power of Christ, rather than on the power of themselves.

✨✨✨

Hope this was worth the wait!

Stay Faithful,

Dassah.♥️
