A Sinner's Hymn
A Sinner's Hymn
By Adeoye Tiwa
Purge me with hyssop
and I shall be clean.
Wash me,
and I shall be whiter than snow.
Many souls are burning, yet one is not
This one is not burning, though it is hot.
Purge me with hyssop
and I shall be clean.
Wash me,
and I shall be whiter than snow.
My soul would rather burn for you,I pray
For you are what is true,I say.
Purge me with hyssop
and I shall be clean.
Wash me,
and I shall be whiter than snow.
I was shapen in iniquity,in sin did my mother conceive me,
But I acknowledge my transgressions and my sin is ever before me.
Purge me with hyssop
and I shall be clean.
Wash me,
and I shall be whiter than snow.
For the love you bear me and for hope in you,
I know you will hear me and for hope in you
Purge me with hyssop
and I shall be clean.
Wash me,
and I shall be whiter than snow.
For the love I do not deserve and for penance
For my life that you will always preserve, and repentance.
Purge me with hyssop
and I shall be clean.
Wash me,
and I shall be whiter than snow.
Yes, we would rather be men after God's Heart. Putting God before self! More Grace ma!
